How we protect review integrity in Algeria

We believe Algerian e-commerce grows through customer trust and impartiality.

Businesses cannot pay to remove reviews

Our policy is clear: no store, on any plan, can pay to hide or delete customer reviews.

Business document review

The badge is only given after our team reviews the documents a store sends, such as its commercial register. It doesn't guarantee product quality.

Automatic limits and human moderation

One review per account or device for each store, limits on repeated attempts, guest reviews checked before they appear, and a team that decides on reports.

Fair right of reply for all businesses

Every store can reply publicly to reviews and address its customers' concerns.

Our Integrity Charter

Review acceptance and moderation criteria

The Taqym moderation team adheres to international review standards aligned with Algerian consumer protection laws.

1. A real experience

Reviewers must have had a real experience with the store. An order number alone doesn't make a review a "Verified purchase": that label needs independent proof checked by our team.

2. Zero tolerance for hate speech & personal attacks

Reviews must focus on products, service, delivery, and customer care. Profanity, defamatory statements, or personal attacks on employees will result in immediate removal.

3. Anti-incentivized & fake review prohibition

Merchants are prohibited from offering gifts, cash, or discounts conditioned on positive ratings. Employees cannot review their own stores.

4. Dispute and arbitration process

If a store believes a review breaks the rules, it can report it from its dashboard, then appeal the decision.
